DMCC Audit Deadlines 2023 Extended: Important Guidelines for Compliance
The DMCC audit submission deadlines for 2023 has been extended to 30 September 2023, allowing additional time for businesses to fulfill their obligations. This extension specifically applies to the submission of annual audited financial statements for the period of 1 January to 31 December 2022.
To support businesses during these challenging times, DMCC has granted a 3-month extended grace period. However, it’s crucial to note that this grace period will expire on 30 September 2023, with no further extensions considered beyond that date. Non-compliance may result in penalties or other regulatory actions as outlined in the DMCC Free Zone regulations.
To ensure a smooth and timely submission, follow these steps:
- Prepare the annual financial statement for January to December 2022 through a DMCC-approved auditor.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of all financial data included in the statement.
- Obtain necessary signatures or approvals from relevant personnel involved in the audit process.
- Submit an online request via the DMCC Member Portal. Access the portal, go to Company Services > Compliance Services, and create a service request titled “Submit Company Audited Financial Statements Summary Sheet and Report.”
